Phad Painting is a traditional folk art form of Rajasthan that combines storytelling with vibrant colors and intricate detailing.
By the end of the 3-day Phad Painting workshop, participants will not only carry their own creation on canvas but will also feel confident in continuing to pursue Phad painting independently. The hands-on experience will equip them with the skills, techniques, and understanding necessary to explore and develop their own artistic expression in this traditional art form.

2. Madhubani Painting
Madhubanipainting also known as Mithila Paintings are a narrative folk style of painting from the Madhubani region of Bihar.
This art has been practiced by the women of the region through the centuries and today it is considered a livingtradition. The theme for Madhubani paintings are broadly based on Nature, Social life and Religion. It was traditionally practiced by the women of the family using colors that were traditionally derived from natural ingredients such as stones, leaves and flowers. It has changed very little over time in terms of its form and style but chemical colors are now being used
This workshop is focused on learning the basic techniques of the folk art, Madhubani painting

3. Mud Resist Block Printing
Mud Resist Block Printing, Introduction to the traditional craft of Dabu (mud-resist) printing from Bagru, Rajasthan.
Participants will learn fabric preparation, mud-resist paste application, block printing, natural dyeing, and indigo dyeing techniques through hands-on practice. The workshop also includes understanding traditional motifs, interaction with artisans, and development of creative printed textile products such as stoles.

5. Blue Prints by natural elements
This course provides students with an introduction to the historical and experimental process of cyanotype printing,
An alternative photographic technique that utilizes sunlight and light-sensitive chemicals to produce striking Prussian blue prints. Through hands-on practice, students will discover the powerful connections between photography, textile design, printmaking, craft, and mixed media experimentation.
