NATIONAL LINKAGES
Objective -IITK and IICD to have cooperation in research, design and development to make usable and marketable products. Both the Institutes would jointly organize workshops and training programs for the betterment of artisans and craft communities.
Objective -The MoU between Pilani Innovation & Entrepreneurship Development Society (PIEDS) and Indian Institute of Crafts & Design, Jaipur (IICD) to act as outreach partners for one another. PIEDS will be providing business mentoring to businesses associated with IICD Jaipur, while IICD Jaipur will provide domain and technical support to PIEDS-affiliated arts and crafts ventures. Look into the possibility of co-incubating projects that are centred on crafts and businesses, and offer co-working space to such ventures. Explore conducting periodic customer discovery programs for ventures; market-access programs and a host of other venture engagements.
Objective -The purpose of this Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India (EDII) and the Indian Institute Of Crafts & Design (IICD) is to outline the possible ways in which IICD and EDII could develop and implement joint activities, promote and develop cooperation through the conduct of entrepreneurship programmes and courses and the exchange of experts.
Objective -The MoU between the Department of Information Technology & Communication, Government of Rajasthan and Indian Institute of Crafts & Design is to work together on the following points for effective and efficient engagement towards strengthening and streamlining the development of the innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem and to bring all the incubatees/start-ups of the academic institution on a single platform to promote and facilitate the ISTART programme.
Objective -The MoU between Lady Bamford Foundation (LBF) and Indian Institute Of Craft & Design (IICD) is to provide financial assistance to meritorious students belonging to families of artisans.
Objective -The MoU is to outline the possible ways in which the Indian Institute of Crafts and Design and the Kalath Foundation could develop and implement an incubation/accelerator programme for early stage (3-5 years) craft-based start-ups. both have a common interest in many craft-based ventures.
Objective -The MoU between Indian Institute of Management, Udaipur Incubation Centre & Indian Institute of Crafts & Design (IIMUIC), Jaipur (IICD) to be outreach partners for each other. IIMUIC and IICD Jaipur to be outreach partners for each other and will extend business mentoring to ventures associated with IIMUIC and IICD Jaipur will extend domain and technology support to ventures focused on arts and crafts associated with IIMUIC. Explore opportunities to jointly incubate crafts and businesses and and provide co-working space to such ventures and conduct periodic customer discovery programmes for ventures: market access programmes and a host of other venture engagements.
Objective - The MoU between Alliance Francaise de Jaipur and IICD Jaipur was renewed for a period of one year on 4th March 2024. As per the MoU French language is being offered as an optional subject to the students, faculty and community members. Taking this further from this year the DELF Tout Public at the A1 level has been included as a mandatory exam for the beginners courses. Now more IICD students will complete their DELF exams.
IICD had displayed and demonstrated various crafts in honour of H.E. Mr Emmanuel Macron, President of the French Republic at Amer Palace on 25th January 2024. The certificate of appreciation received by IICD from H.E. Mr. Emmanuel Macron, President of the French Republic through Ambassador of French in India, was also shared with the Director of Alliance Francaise de Jaipur.
Objective -A MoU is signed between the Indian Institute of Crafts and Design, Jaipur, and the Network of Indian Cultural Enterprises (NICE-Eorg) provides for the two organisations to work together on outreach initiatives.
