Notice

This notification is in continuation to the Announcement for Admission, published in the Times of India dt. 12th January 2026. The above mentioned Announcement is brought to the notice of all the candidates, who are willing to take admission in IICD through Lateral Entry in B.Des in Crafts and Design 2nd Year Course in 2026-27, that they can apply directly through online registration of IICD, subject to the following conditions:-

1. QUALIFYING EXAMINATION:

The candidate should have passed the qualifying examination (Ist year of Under Graduate under the Design Stream)as per the norms of UGC for the admission in B.Des in Crafts and Design 2nd Year Course in 2026-27 at the time of admission at IICD.

To apply for the Admissions in the IICD, please follow the following steps:

1. To take admission in the Indian Institute of Crafts & Design (IICD) for the B.DES in Crafts and Design courses, every candidate has to register themselves online at IICD Website. The last date for submission of the online application form is 31st March 2026 (Tuesday).
2. After registering on the IICD Portal, applicants are required to submit the Ist year record of the Under Graduate courseon the given LINK. A mail of confirmation and information about further progress from IICD will be sent by 27th April 2026 (Monday).
3. All other dates related to Admission-2026, would remain unchanged.
