For The UCEED/ CEED/ NIFT/ NID Candidate

Notification

This notification is in continuation to the Admission Announcement, published in the Times of India dt. 21st April 2025 (Monday). The following amendments in above mentioned Announcement is brought to the notice of all the candidates of entrance test of UCEED/ CEED/ NIFT/ NID -2025 exam, who are willing to take admission in IICD, that they can appear directly for the Personal Interview (via Whatsapp) of IICD, subject to the following conditions:-

1. UCEED/ CEED/ NIFT/ NID -2025 QUALIFICATION:

The candidate should have qualified and having a valid selection letter from UCEED/ CEED/ NIFT/ NID -2025.

2. QUALIFYING EXAMINATION:

The candidate should have passed the qualifying examination for the admission in UG & PG Courses (i.e. Class 12th or Graduation) at the time of admission at IICD as mentioned in the IICD Website at Admission Guidelines page.

To apply for the IICD Admissions, please follow the following steps:

  1. To take admission in the Indian Institute of Crafts & Design (IICD) for the B.DES/M.DES in Crafts and Design courses, every candidate has to register themselves online at IICD Website. The last date for submission of the online application form is 21st May 2025 (Wednesday).
  2. In the online registration portal after selecting the course name, applicants has to tick mark [] UCEED/CEED/NIFT/NID button, that you have appeared in the said exam and got selected. Applicant has to select the exam name from the dropdown. Also mention the total marks in percentage (%). In the upload document section, upload the copy of the concerned result in support of your entry.
  3. The Personal Interview (via Whatsapp) will be conducted between first week of June 2025. Exact date and time will be communicated in the admit card of the applicants. Personal interviews will be conducted for a period of around 20 minutes. Applicants will get a call from the IICD examiners team on the given time on their registered whatsapp number.
  4. All other dates related to Admission-2025, would remain unchanged.
