Call for Abstracts for Paper and Poster Presentations
Indian Institute of Crafts and Design, Jaipur invites papers and posters for its 4th International Conference on Recent Trends and Sustainability in Crafts and Design to be held at Jaipur, India, in the fourth week of November 2023. Academicians, policy makers, industry professionals, government representatives, NGOs, freelancers, designers, researchers, craftsperson and other crafts sector stakeholders, are encouraged to send original research/ study abstracts by 14 March 2023 (Closed).
The conference aims at an outcome on impactful societal design, embracing the change in craft sector, material & designs for sustainable development, innovation in craft sector and developing entrepreneurs to marketers. Conference at IICD Sangoshthi 2023 acts as a catalyst of change in the craft sector involving artisans, academicians, researchers and the industrialist. It looks forth for a dialogue with the artisans across country to address the challenges, prospects and problems from the grass root level. Participants of conference gets a chance to interact with the artisans that broadens the horizon of their design ideas connecting them with the crafts.
The 1st International Conference was successfully held at IICD in November 2017, and the 2nd edition of the International Conference was held in November 2019& the 3rd International Conference was successfully held online in November 2021 with a wide range of participation.
The 4thedition of the International Conference will be interdisciplinary. We seek abstracts for 15-minute presentations and posters related to the themes outlined below.
