Craft Digital Archive

Indian Institute of Crafts & Design is dedicated to Indian crafts and its main objective is to generate knowledge, upgrade skills and foster attitudes in order to develop highly motivated change agents in the crafts sector: IICD has therefore begun work on developing an Archive Cell under the expert guidance and mentorship of Prof. Jyotindra Jain, a renowned Indian art and culture historian, musicologist, and a scholar on folk & ritual arts. So far we have been able to collect 30,000 pictures from various Classroom Projects, Craft Documentation, Field Exposure, Internship, Diploma Projects, Collections etc. and 623 documents in form of PDF files. We have also revived invaluable date from various donors.
